This spring the goal of Finland is to collect a million bags of garbage. The cleaning task has been started by Yle and Huittinen is a participant along with 159 other cities or municipalities.

During the two-month cleaning job, anyone can clean the ditch by their running path, for example. The acting park foreman of Huittinen, Jaana Mörsky, says the local early childhood education units, elementary schools and secondary school have accepted the challenge. Now everyone in Huittinen is being challenged.

The bags are recorded to the counter in Yle website. Alternatively, the collected garbage bags can be recorded in the lists found in the libraries of Huittinen and Vampula.
